✈️ Heard the headlines about fuel shortages? Here's the update you actually need.

ABTA has issued a statement to reassure travellers — and the message is clear.

"The government and airlines are clear that there isn't a problem with fuel supply. If you have a holiday booked in for the coming months – including the May half term – we expect it to go ahead as planned." – Mark Tanzer, ABTA Chief Executive

The facts on the ground right now:
UK flights are operating as normal
Only 1% of global flights have been cut (mainly via hubs like Munich/Istanbul, not UK)
Airlines have secured fuel supplies and contingency plans are in place

If you have a trip booked, the best thing you can do is look forward to it. And if anything changes — which we don't expect — we'll be right here to sort it.

Milaidhoo is one of our favourites in the Maldives — intimate, beautifully designed, and home to Lucky, whose place in our Bartenders' Hall of Fame is well earned.

Mirihi has a new name — V Villas Maldives at Mirihi — MGallery Collection — and we've just refreshed the page with the first batch of images under the new branding.

For anyone who knows the original, the bones are the same: that naturally pretty island, the reef access in South Ari, the loyal repeater following that's kept it booked out for years. But the villas have had a proper refresh, and the Accor MGallery polish is visible in every new shot.

We're yet to visit under the new name (watch this space), but the imagery is already making a strong case. Take a look 👇
