Iโve been incredibly quiet on here this year and I thought it was time for an update. I lost my Dad in January, it was sudden, unexpected and a very traumatic time for my family. Our hearts are broken and Iโve spent the last 8 months processing a lot of emotions and am still doing so. Our world/life turned upside down and Iโm still trying to figure out this โnew normalโ. Iโve taken a massive step back from the travel industry and although I have had some lovely bookings this year and cannot thank you enough for your continued support, itโs time to call it a day. As well as losing my Dad, the travel industry just isnโt the same anymore post covid and my heart isnโt in it anymore.
Over the years Iโve always enjoyed sharing UK travels, hotels and ideas so Iโve decided to keep this page and turn it into more of a blog rather than selling holidays. Iโve always loved writing (a passion I shared with my Dad and he shared with his Mother). I find it very therapeutic so I thought why not put it to good use!
My blog will be a bit of everything but mostly local days out, lots of recommendations/reviews, places to eat, overnight stays, things to do with children, events etc. As a stay at home Mum of 2, I spend A LOT of my time searching and planning fun family things to do, child friendly places to eat, events and more around the Kent area and it would be great to let others know what I find too! Iโve realised now that life really is too short and Iโm here to make memories with my family!
Thanks to those that made it this far! Iโve always been especially grateful for the Kent businesses that follow me on this page so hopefully you will stick around to see some changes coming here soon! ๐ซถ๐ผ
