Quack Quack!
New inhabitants on the wildlife pond.
A very proud young mother and her brood of ducklings.
Such an honour they have chosen to live on this newly dug pond.

Family of ducks just appeared on the pond.
She must have hatched them very close, possibly in the Devon banks which are near the pond, but well away from prying eyes clearly.
So very cute, and a joy to watch.
For a newly built pond to attract the level of interest it has from local wildlife shows it was needed and is now being enjoyed by a huge variety of animals from invertebrates to amphibians, birds, mammals and insects..
