Hi guys, just wanted to tell my customers and friends that half term week 26th May till Sunday first of June I will not be working. I’m hoping my new driver may be on to do my standing order jobs but I won’t know till the end of this week whether that may be the case but if she can’t start before then then I will be shutting down completely between those dates. regards Dennis

Due to drastic and sudden loss of staff, Whie Swan Taxi Service is going to be operating on the very limited basis. This may go on for weeks or even a couple of months in advance. I am apologizing in advance for any inconvenience that this causes. This is totally out of my control and I will rectify the situation as soon as possible. Please bare with me in the short term.

If anyone’s interested in becomming a Mid Devon Taxi Driver please contact me ASAP. If anyone knows anyone that’s got a Mid Devon taxi license that wants to work in credit area I would be appreciated if they could contact me ASAP.

If you’d like to work for a community based business which has been operating for over 18 years in the Mid Devon area please contact me on 07928115421.

We pride our self on being a customer friendly and a dog friendly company.

Great rates of pay & training provided. If you already have a Mid Devon Hackney or private hire licence you could start immediately.

If not we will can assist you all the way through the process and help you with the relevant paperwork if you want to apply for your Hackney carriage license for mid Devon.

You must be over 30 years old and have at least 2 years driving experience.

Vehicles will be provided or we would be happy if you want to use your own vehicle provided it’s 5 years or less from current registration plate.

We also need taxi drivers to cover Devon County School runs & patient transport work during term times.

Taxi drivers needed for week days, nights & weekend shifts. We can fit shifts to suit your needs. It doesn’t have to be unsocial hours it can be 8am to 5 pm.

White Swan Taxis and my drivers Daren Youssef and Chatty Man Tim would like to thank all our customers for their continuous support. It’s been a difficult year with Staff shortage you guys have stuck by us. I have, and will always appreciate all of our customers, Old and New. It gives me great pleasure to be able to look after so many people many of whom have become great friends and a massive part of my life over last 18 years.

I can’t tell you how much I appreciate you. I started this business nearly 18 years ago because the guy I was working for before only cared about making money. he didn’t care about the customers, so I decided I would start out on my own.

I would like to think that over the last 17/18 years that I’ve continued to try and give the best possible service to my customers. I have strived to be a customer friendly company, putting my custom customers needs first. I am eternally grateful for your custom, and Friendship in a lot of cases.

It’s been a sad year and many ways for the amount of my elderly and other sick customers who havepassed away this year. They leave a massive hole in my heart as we become a vital part of their lives and of mine too.

There have been so many I couldn’t possibly name them all mainly because I don’t want to stir up emotions at this happy time.

My thoughts and love will always go out to those who are no longer with us, and to all their families who have lost loved ones .

I hope this Christmas and the New Year ahead will be a time of love, peace and happiness for everyone.

White Swan Taxi Service are please to announce that our new driver Youssef has joined our company on a part time basis for now. Hopefully full time soon.

He’s a really lovely guy very professional helpful and polite. I’m delighted to welcome him to our company.

We are currently looking for two more drivers male or female part time full time hours to suit.
