September has arrived, and that means the new term is about to start, the nights are drawing in and the weather’s cooling down, but luckily there’s still lots to look forward to in Crewe this month ☺️
🚂 Crewe Heritage Centre is welcoming back the South Cheshire Campaign for Real Ale for the Crewe Rail Ale Festival on September 4th, and the 26th and 27th will see a special 1940s Heritage Weekend Event.
🎬 It’s National Cinema Weekend on September 5th and 6th, and tickets for all movies at ODEON Crewe at Phoenix Leisure Park are just £4. Plus, because no trip to the cinema is complete without popcorn, all popcorn is just £5 across the weekend to celebrate.
📚 Gruffalo Granny is being released on September 10th, and you can get your hands on a copy at Waterstones on Victoria Street from 9am, where there will also be fun activities and exciting goodies. On the 22nd, from 9am make friendship bracelets and decorate your own bag to celebrate the release of The Mirror of Infinite Endings, and on the 29th from 7am, there’ll be activities and goodies for the launch of Threshing Day.
🎭 There’s an exciting mix of shows at Crewe Lyceum, including Taylormania, Beat Collective, Jen Brister – Reactive, 90s Live, 9 to 5 The Musical and more.
🎶 Gigs at The Arena Crewe include Hadzilla Rocks, Monsters of Rock Live and Forever Tina, a tribute to Tina Turner.
What have you got planned in Crewe this month?
