🗺️ Plan your route before you visit. Use up-to-date maps and guides. Our Visitor Centres in Abergavenny and Libanus are open all weekend for ideas and information.

⛅ Check the local weather forecast in advance. Remember that conditions can change quickly on mountains

🚗 Do not block access to gateways or driveways when parking

🥾 Bring the right clothing and equipment for your planned activities

💧 Stay hydrated, listen to your body, and wear sunscreen

When you stay here at The Neuadd The canal usually features in a walk or spotting some wildlife and waving to passing boats There are some threats to its closure that require Welsh Government to get involved, please sign this petition to get their attention.

It’s officially lambing season across Wales which means the countryside will soon be full of newborn lambs finding their feet 🐾

These little animals are extremely fragile and can easily be separated from their mothers, especially if chased by dogs, causing stress, injury or sadly, even death.

Even if your dog doesn’t catch them, the fear and panic they experience alone can be seriously harmful to them🐑.

So, with so many lambs around, keeping dogs on leads near sheep is more important than ever.

Let’s all do our part to keep them safe!🐕‍🦺 🌿💚
