Dear Crieff and Strathearn Community,

We also would like to draw your attention to the closing of our carpark over the holidays.

The carpark at Loch Monzievaird will be closed from Tuesday the 23rd of December until Sunday the 4th of January. There will not be any vehicle access on site, except for our resident guests.

Dear Strathearn Residents,
Our school groups and camping season begins this Friday, the 21st. Therefore we are closing our car park from the 21st of March until the end of October. There will be no vehicle access except for chalet residents and designated guests. Please make alternate plans for your walks and swims.

Dear Crieff and Strathearn Friends,

This is the manager of Loch Monzievaird Chalets. I've been following the chat regarding walks at the chalets, and wish to bring some clarity to the discussion.

As others have pointed out, the path around the loch is not a core path, nor is it a public right of way. I'd like to add that the Outdoor Access Code does not extend to vehicle access. When we post signs saying "No Parking or Vehicle Access Until Further Notice," we do so with the expectation that people will respect our wishes.

Our camps are not quite done for the year, with weekend groups in September and October. When you see the signs up at our entrance, we kindly ask you to please respect them.
