Hello everyone!

Isaac and Keri here from the exciting new Gorse Café, soon to open at the beautiful Comrie Croft—and we honestly can’t wait to meet you all!

For those of you who knew, loved, and regularly visited the Tea Garden here, you’ll know what a huge responsibility taking the baton from Ally is. Everyone we’ve spoken to reminds us how much of a rock-solid pillar she was in the Crofter community. Thanks to her, we’re stepping into a thriving space, with so many of you eagerly waiting for us to reopen!

A little about us: we’re the new café managers—Isaac is a barista who loves connecting with people (and brewing a tasty cup of wake-up juice ☕️), and Keri is a baker with a passion for flavourful, seasonal food that looks as good as it tastes 🎂🌿. More than anything, we’re just two people who really care about building something special—and you’ll be a huge part of that.✨

So follow along, say hi, and come on this journey with us as we create a magical little place at Comrie Croft.

Has anyone out there got a new catering van business? Due to The Tea Garden at Comrie Croft undergoing a metamorphosis (watch this space), we'd love to welcome a food truck to keep all the lovely people here well fed over the rest of April. Our Katas are pretty busy, but we have the odd night here and there available if you're keen to get out into a little bit of forest bathing:

Sunday 6th April - Kata 3 - 1 night
Tuesday 8th April - Kata 6 - 1 night
Sunday 13th April - Kata 5 - 1 night
Thursday 17th April - Katas 5 and 7 - 1 night
Sunday 20th April - Katas 3, 4 and 5

£135 for a one night stay

We also still have family rooms available in the steading on the 10th and 15th of April, one night only. These are £52 pp, kids pay half and under 5s stay for free!

Ooo, what is this appearing in the front field? It's going to be our new all abilities multi-use trail!!! It's going to be a trail for everyone...

And it's also the first step towards making the field more beautiful, biodiverse and productive, with small fields in between the trail, hedgerows, trees and permaculture/agro-forestry activities. Maybe even a Hielan Coo to two!!
