It was a funny coincidence that landed us with two Haven Cottages but this has led to confusions in the past so we have changed one to “Port Cottage” instead. We are looking forward to further redecorations and upgrades at both in response to some suggestions and also just to try and enhance the experience with us.

In Cromer you can take a picture from the exact same spot but it’s wonderfully different each time, we love how it changes with the weather and seasons. A magic place to visit, also we must say the Christmas dinner in the Red Lion was pretty fabulous too! Happy Christmas and a Healthy New Year to all ❤️

Never tire of the sunsets over the pier, there’s the lifeboat being recovered and sea defences being put in place to protect Cromer for years to come ❤️

Of the things to do in Cromer, swimming in the sea with the lovely shallow sandy beaches and clear water must be right at the top. Even as we were at the very end of September last year with the water still warm and the beautiful evening sun dipping behind the cliffs, Cromer is magic.

Strangely we acquired a second Haven cottage, this time on a lovely shingle alley in Golden Square just along from the high street and a minute from the excellent West Street Deli. Just a couple minutes walk from the sea and on the door step of the town centre. We have more to come on this cottage as the year progresses but filled with character and smashing place to explore the heart of Cromer.
