Gill and Keith got in touch, recommended by another of my lovely clients, wanting something special to bring three generations of their family together for their diamond wedding anniversary.

A big thank you to ITC and Grecotels for a lovely evening 😊

It’s always good when you can mix business with a bit of fun, and what a fantastic location to do it!

I’ve never had a go on a driving range before and I think the photos probably say it all! 😂 Definitely more balls off target than on target, but I gave it a go! ⛳🤣

It was great to spend the evening with some lovely suppliers and fellow travel professionals, so thank you again ITC and Grecotels for a really enjoyable night! 🥂

🍂 There’s something about autumn 🍂

I love this time of year, especially the blustery sunny days, crisp walks and the gorgeous autumn colours.

We’ve just come back from a week in Scotland and the colours of the trees were beautiful 🍁 It was hard not to stop and take pictures every five minutes!

Autumn is also a fabulous time to explore further afield if you fancy seeing those incredible colours in a different part of the world. 🌍✈️

🍁 New England, USA, think winding country roads and forests full of fiery reds, oranges and golden yellows.

🍁 Canada, particularly eastern Canada, including Quebec and Ontario, where the autumn scenery is stunning, with beautiful lakes, forests and little towns to explore.

🍁 Japan, a completely different take on autumn, with vibrant red maple leaves, golden ginkgo trees, temples and gardens. Kyoto is particularly beautiful at this time of year.

🍁 The Dolomites, Italy, if you love mountain scenery, crisp walking weather and beautiful landscapes, autumn can be a lovely time to visit, with golden larch trees adding to the views.

Whether it’s a cosy UK break, a road trip through New England or a bucket-list adventure in Japan, autumn has so much to offer. 🍂

Just a little heads-up, from tomorrow I’ll be swapping my desk for the Scottish countryside for 6 nights! 🏴🥾

Me, hubby & Dobby are off on a little Scottish adventure, Dobby thinks this trip has been organised just for him, to be fair it probably has! 🐾😂

I’ll be back at my desk on Tuesday 13th October. If you need anything while I’m away, my lovely colleague Susan is covering for me and has access to my emails.💻

Anything that’s not urgent I’ll deal with on my return.

Right now, I need to concentrate on important matters such as making a list of dog-friendly cafés and pubs! 🐶☕🍷

😊 It’s World Smile Day today 😊

I’ve definitely got plenty to smile about! ❤️

My son is coming for dinner, which is always lovely, and then tomorrow we’re off to Manchester for the weekend to spend some time with our daughter and her partner.

On Sunday we’ll be cheering her on as she takes part in her first ever half marathon! 🏃‍♀️🎉

So, this weekend is all about family, catching up, cheering from the sidelines and hopefully a celebratory drink afterwards! 🥂❤️

Sometimes it’s the simple things that mean the most, spending time with the people you love, making memories and having something to look forward to.

💐 A little apology for being so quiet over the last week or so! 💐

I’ve had a planned operation, so I’ve been taking some much-needed time out to rest and recover.

Thankfully, I’m now on the mend and feeling better every day, although I’m probably only firing on about 80% rather than my usual 100% at the moment! 😂 So please bear with me if it takes me a little longer than usual to get back to messages ❤️

My house has also turned into a florist 🌸💐 and I’ve been very spoilt with flowers, biscuits, cookies and brownies! 🍪🍫 It’s certainly helped with the recovery!

I’m hoping that by the end of this week I’ll be getting back to normal - whatever that is! 😂✈🌎
