Last week we finished at this garden in Brampford Speke. The owner has moved. I shall miss working on this garden and I will deffinately miss the views. The work in this garden has been so varied over the 4 years working there. There's been a lot of horticulture involved but also some heavy strimming, hedgecutting and bed removals. It's been an absolute pleasure for both Andy and I.
It does however mean for the first time in 4 years, we have opened up our books to new customers. Long overdue.....
Introducing Andy! Andy started working with me in April. He also takes on his own work too. He has worked in soft landscaping for many years.
He is incredibly hard working and has had a brilliant start to being self employed. More of his jobs to follow....
In his spare time he likes to cook, play cricket and is a keen fisher.
He has a passion for the outdoors, our dogs and is an amazing dad to our daughter.
Now thats what you call a family business, and I'm so proud 😁

Today I tried out Andy's latest new bit of kit. Ditching the Stihl's for Echo. I'm hedge cutting all day in Exeter today. This is just one of the jobs before I move on.
I think an introduction to Andy is a must next weel..and to upload our pics from a super busy season! :)

We always encourage and support our customers to work with nature. I have been lucky to work on some great projects in recent years. Growing veg for the likes of Hotel Du Vin, Exeter. The, what was known as, The Lazy Toad Bramford Speke amongst many other private customers. From clearance and rotovation, compost making, seedsowing and even harvesting. From no dig principles, setting you up, keeping you going and definitely NOT tasting your precious produce🤭 It doesn't have to be a big space either, there are lots of herbs and plants you can plant to attract bees and wildlife

We chose Photinia Red robin 'Pink Marble' and we think it will look lovely once established.
