There’s supposed to be a very good chance of seeing the Northern Lights! Our remote position in the beautiful Ennerdale valley is perfect for a bit of star gazing 💫 so with a bit of luck the aurora borealis will put on a show tonight!🤞

Hope you’re all enjoying a relaxing Bank Holiday weekend! 🥰
If any of our guests fancy a break from cooking this weekend we can recommend a visit to the local pub, Fox and Hounds Inn just make sure you go hungry, and leave room for dessert! 😋

“Lovely farmhouse accommodation. Beautiful views from the rear, quiet, safe enclosed garden and large bedroom’s. Although it’s slightly away from the more popular parts of the lakes, we were in Buttermere/Wasdale within 30min. We had everything we needed and the supplied Nespresso pods were a nice touch. This house had a cosy, well worn feel that made us feel instantly at home. Would absolutely return. And definitely have a meal at the Fox & Hounds in the village!”

Our cottages are the perfect place for a relaxing dog friendly holiday! 🏡
With so much space to run around and explore and walks galore on the doorstep, your dog will feel right at home here! 🐕❤️
The local pubs are dog friendly too, and there’s a cosy wood burner🔥 in each of the cottages that will be very popular with your pooch on those colder days!
