Last minute trip to Miami 🏴󠁧󠁢󠁳󠁣󠁴󠁿⚽️

Applied for our ESTA Sunday evening.

Home from the Lake District and ESTA approved Monday evening.

Quickly booked our trip on Monday evening.

Edinburgh Airport Tuesday morning. Landed in Miami that night, just in time for the game the next day.

A last minute trip to make sure this little lad experienced what might end up being a once in a lifetime experience. 🇧🇷⚽️🏴󠁧󠁢󠁳󠁣󠁴󠁿

I bet you can't guess where I've just booked our next trip to. 🙈

A few clues:

→ Within five minutes of discovering it, I asked my husband to sell the house and move there (he said no but I am still working on it)

→ We found it by accident. Got off the ferry in Split, hired a moped to explore Brač, and stumbled upon this village

→ It's often listed as one of Europe's most beautiful small towns

→ Getting there requires a plane, a ferry and a drive

This will be our third summer there. Sometimes you just find your place.

I was lucky to be invited to the Visit Barbados event at the W Hotel on Thursday (a beautiful venue in St James Quarter if you haven't been yet). 🇧🇧

I always find these events beneficial to my customers. I spent time chatting with the teams from Silversea, Seabourn and Princess, all of whom sail from Barbados. These are the conversations that make a difference when you ask me about a destination. I'm not just pulling information from a website; I've got people I can pick up the phone to. It is also my favourite Caribbean island (so far, but it will be hard to beat!).

I also won a bottle of rum. Hello rum punch! 🍹
