Holmlea Cottage Holmlea Cottage is available for breaks, holidays and business trips - the minimum stay is two nights

Holmlea sleeps up to 4 people and is available through Airbnb or direct. It is not set up for younger children or babies, but I am happy to discuss this with you. I have a strict cancellation policy, but if your booked stay is impossible due to legal Covid restrictions I will give a full refund (I may need proof). Government approved cleaning protocols are in place for your safety and peace of mind.

Dates available this spring in March! We have availability from now until the 12th March, and then the last two weeks of the month - enjoy the warmer weather and countryside, and take the chance to explore the countryside and museums, galleries and other interesting places to visit before the crowds :) Two day stays and more available :) Also within easy reach of St Andrews, Edinburgh, Dundee and Perth for days out :) Give me a shout to enquire - sleeps up to 4 and dog friendly, cosy adjustable heating and comfy beds and an artist-designed space - everything you need for a lovely stay :) Also booking direct will save about 15% in service charges on Airbnb and VRBO ;)

Oh wow! I knew these lovely guests would write our 200th review on Airbnb - but it has also put us up to a full 5* rating too! We had one 4* review 5 years ago due to a boiler malfunction, which kept us at 4.99* ever since and although that is brilliant enough to put us in the top 1% of most loved properties on Airbnb, I didn't think we would ever get back to a perfect 5* Very hard to do! :D
They also left us a beautiful thank you card and yummy gifts

We have lovingly created a charming home to escape to, with an aim to give it a traditional, vintage style, including quirky touches. Most of the furniture is antique, we have also had fun with colour and patterns in cushions, bedding and floor tiles, and some gorgeous wallpaper. All of the artwork in the cottage is original and comes from Katy or her mother Elizabeth Shepherd, much of this is available for sale. We had the idea of a ‘cottage for an art lover’. Quite a few lovely touches came from Under the Arches in Perth, which specialises in characterful vintage furniture and bric-a-brac, a real wonderland. We love the Delft tiles in the fireplace and bathroom, and the white Jotul stove. Holmlea is situated in a lovely little road of cottages in Freuchie, at the foot of the Lomond Hills, so is perfect for walkers and dog owners, and is close to many beautiful places, like Falkland, St Andrews, Tensmuir, and the East Neuk as well as being surrounded by arable fields and undulating landscape. We love hearing the fantastic comments and reviews from our guests, who are very enthusiastic and tend to want to come back for a return visit.
