Yet still it survives and stands strong and proud on the edge of the beach. Currently it's representing UK 🇬🇧 in European Tree of the Year 2022.

Following recent government advice, we wish to reassure everyone, that we remain open as normal, with all possible restrictions in place.

Our hardworking staff, are wearing their masks and all testing regularly. We would ask that for the sake of other patrons, before visiting us you would do the same. Our tables remain spaced and we have various separate rooms available for sole dining use.

Our Christmas Parties are going ahead as planned, however we have capped the numbers attending. Our function room ventilation system has been serviced to ensure we are doing everything we can to make this a safe and enjoyable experience for everyone.

A good reminder if you are paddle boarding at Sandyhills, Rockcliffe or Kippford.

Stand-up paddleboarding is a great way to enjoy our beautiful coastline while improving your fitness levels.

But it’s not without risk and we’re seeing a rise in the number of incidents involving people getting into trouble.

Make sure your paddleboarding experience is one you’ll remember for all the right reasons by taking some simple steps to stay safe:

• Always use a paddleboard with a leash
• Wear a personal flotation device and make sure you can move easily while wearing it
• One paddleboard per person! Don’t be tempted to share a board, particularly with children
• Take your mobile in a waterproof case. We’re always at the end of the phone ready to help if you run into trouble

• 👭Paddleboarding with a friend is more fun and they can help if you’re struggling. If you are going alone, tell someone where you’ll be and when you expect to return
• Check the weather forecast and tide times before you leave. Paddleboards are very susceptible to the wind and are easily blown offshore💨 🌊
• Give your board a once-over before you leave to ensure it’s sea safe

We have long crafted a vodka base spirit to form the beating heart of our Hills & Harbour Gin. After over 3 years of being asked if we would ever release a vodka on it’s own, we decided it was long over due to give you all a taste of this creamy spirit as a Limited edition run. In the usual Crafty style we took the purity, smoothness and flavour to the next level.

Local wheat and water combine in our 7 day fermentation process to create maximum character and mouth feel. Multiple distillations are followed by a 24 hour filtration process through the most porous of carbons, coconut shell carbon. This crafts a spirit of exceptional purity and taste.

Tasting notes – Soft cream soda, light toffee with subtle biscuit notes. Neutral and smooth. To serve: Rocks glass over ice, or with the mixer of your choice. We like Franklin’s brewed Ginger beer mixer. 👌
