They’re all fully furnished to a high standard to make your stay stress free, comfortable and enjoyable. the Lake District. Famous for it's lakes, forests and mountains plus thriving communities like Keswick and Bowness on Windermere. We are also 10 miles from the City of Carlisle which offers historic and modern attractions to enjoy, including art galleries, museums, sporting events, award winning parks, nature reserves and relaxing open spaces. The most well-known are the Cathedral and Carlisle Castle, which has dominated the city for nine centuries. There is also a bustling town centre with a large range of shopping. Come and join us in Spring time to help feed our baby lambs and meet our very friendly animals....Best Friends Forever!! Meet Pasturewood Holidays Richard and Rachel your Luxury Glamping hosts. You will receive a very warm welcome when you check in at reception on arrival along with their dogs Lola and Honey. Also you will get to meet the other animals in the surrounding fields of Pasturewood! The McCrone family opened their gates to Pasturewood Holidays in July 2015 after making the decision to diversify the land they owned into a luxury Glamping Site. Rachel and Richard raised their two lovely children Ellen and Owen in a world of wellies, mud, sheep and countryside. They decided to share their land with guests…so they too could wake up to the stunning views of the Lake District Fells and the amazing beauty of the surrounding countryside. Pasturewood Holidays itself continues to grow after starting with only three Luxury Glamping pods back in July 2015 which proved to be very popular with their home from home comforts all year round. Due to there popularity they added another three in July 2017 two with their very own wood fired hot tubs… to soak away life’s stresses while listening to the crackling of the log fire…also very popular. Our most recent project is the “Quiet Pasture” which offers new, modern luxury glamping pods for couples only with either a two person hot tub or a copper bath. The McCrone Family x
