I learnt so much on my Japan training with the fabulous Wendy Wu Tours. It’s definitely the place to put at the top of my Bucket List.
The best time to go to see the cherry blossom (but now I’m in the know I can call it Sakura) is from March to early May but the peak is a short window between mid March & mid April. Did you know there is a Japanese word, Hanami, which means Blossom Watching. It is a beautiful nationwide cultural even where Japanese people sit and picnic under the Sakura and enjoy its transient beauty. That was my favourite fact.
