🎭 THE ENTERTAINMENT ON LEGEND IS ON ANOTHER LEVEL! 🤯🚢

We’ve talked about the size & outdoor areas & the neighbourhoods onboard Legend of the Seas… but the entertainment deserves a post all of its own.

And WOW. 🤩

🍫 Charlie and the Chocolate Factory – a full 1 hour 45 minute West End-style production, complete with a live orchestra. The sets, costumes, talent and production quality were incredible – you genuinely have to remind yourself you’re watching this on a cruise ship!

🌊 Shockwaves at the AquaDome – high diving, aerial performances, incredible technology and plenty of those “how on earth did they just do that?!” moments.

⛸️ Fusion – the ice show – The level of skating is phenomenal, but it’s the combination of choreography, music, lighting, special effects and technology that really brings it to life. Fast-paced, spectacular and incredibly polished.

🎶 And then there’s ALL the live music…

A jazz band in Lou’s, the brilliant guys in Dueling Pianos, a full band in the Music Hall, another in Boleros, piano and guitar in the English Pub, the house band on the Royal Promenade… and probably a few more we simply haven’t had the chance to see!

You can wander around Legend in the evening and find live music and a completely different atmosphere around every corner.

These aren’t simply “cruise ship shows”. They’re proper productions you’d happily pay to see on land – and when you add in the sheer amount of live entertainment happening across the ship every night…

Just WOW. 👏🤩

If great entertainment and live music are important parts of your holiday, Legend of the Seas absolutely needs to be on your radar. ❤️

🚢 “It’s HUGE!” 😍 …or “It’s TOO huge!” 😳

Since sharing our first impressions of Legend of the Seas, I’ve noticed two very different reactions. Some of you are beyond excited by the size and everything onboard… others are quite frankly horrified! 😂

So, after four days onboard, including sea and port days, let me reassure BOTH camps.

We’re on an almost sold-out sailing and so far:

☀️ Never struggled to find a lounger
🍹 Never queued for a drink
🛗 Never waited for an elevator
🎭 Found tickets for every show we wanted at times that worked for us

Does it get busy? Of course. The Windjammer at peak breakfast is hectic – but you have at least five other breakfast options. The main pools get lively too, but there are kids’ pools, adults-only areas, splash parks and quieter spots. And funny enough… the kids aren’t always the issue! 🙃😂

What Royal Caribbean has done brilliantly is divide this enormous ship into different neighbourhoods, spreading everyone out. While one family is enjoying Surfside, others are at a show, on the waterslides, relaxing in Central Park or simply finding a quiet lounger.

Same ship. Completely different holidays. You can pack your days with as much fun, excitement and entertainment as you have the energy for – or do very little at all. The beauty is that the choice is entirely yours.

If the size excites you – you’ll LOVE it. 🤩
If the size terrifies you – don’t write her off just yet. You might be very pleasantly surprised. ❤️

🌊 HARDEN HOLIDAYS IS ONBOARD… LEGEND OF THE SEAS! 🚢✨

After a couple of lovely days in Barcelona — although our whistle-stop stay was slightly derailed by the unexpected mission of replacing Tim’s luggage after Vueling managed to lose it! 😅🧳

It certainly reinforced something we always tell our clients: a pre-cruise stay is a very good idea! That extra day or two gives you some all-important breathing space should travel plans not go quite as expected.

But now… onto the part we’ve REALLY been waiting for.

🚢 Legend of the Seas.

WOW. WOW. And WOW again. 🤩

What an absolutely incredible ship she is. We’ve barely scratched the surface and already we can see why she has been so eagerly anticipated.

We’ll be exploring everything Legend has to offer and sharing plenty of first-hand tips, favourite spots, food, entertainment and behind-the-scenes moments along the way.

Because there’s nothing quite like experiencing it ourselves before recommending it to you. 💙

We’ll be spending some time onboard Royal Caribbean’s spectacular new Legend of the Seas, experiencing the ship first-hand so we can come back with plenty of insider knowledge, tips and recommendations for you.

🧸🐻 Dartford Bear Hunt has officially arrived at Harden Holidays! 🐻🧸

After settling into his new home on the beach, Oakley is now ready to meet all you lovely children (and grown-ups too!) as part of the . 🎉

Over the next 8 weeks, you’ll be able to hunt down dozens of beautifully decorated bears and cubs across Dartford, all in support of the incredible , whose amazing work makes such a difference to local families. 💙

We’re especially proud that Oakley was lovingly decorated by the talented children at Oakfield Primary Academy. They have done a fantastic job and should be incredibly proud of their wonderful creation. 👏🎨
