We've had our hands a little full recently, so have completely neglected social media! Here are some photos from a bespoke canoeing trip last month, our experienced staff came up with an adventurous route to avoid some strong winds. Our guests had a wonderful adventure, being sheltered from the wind the weather was lovely and they even braved a swim in the river at lunch!

It's been a SUP kind of week here at Dartmoor Adventures, Chris has been paddling 2 of our new boards. Yesterday he walked into the Dart to a play spot with the Go Wild 9'8 and earlier in the week he was paddling the speedy Go Explore Touring board whilst looking after a large canoeing group! Very different, but both fantastic boards.

FREE PADDLING OPPERTUNITY
We have a sheltered water SUP leader assessment on Wednesday (5th) and still need a couple of learners. Perfect for beginners and intermediate paddleboarders, you'll be lead on a lovely journey in sheltered water (a flat, slowly moving section of river and a slightly windy section of estuary).
We'll be on one of the South Devon estuaries, meeting at 9am. If you've no kit, then we've got plenty you can borrow.

We had a cracking day out with our stag group today. Beautiful sunshine, good water levels and lovely clear water!

Getting to grips with one of our new boards yesterday on a high water run. The Mcconks Go Wild 9'6: Short, fat and very stable. Some changes to be made from paddling a longer board, I'm looking forward to trying this in some low water grade 4 runs!

It was at this moment Chris realised running drops on a SUP is not as hard as it looks! The stoke was very high that day!

This week Chris had the pleasure of doing something completely outrageous with Westaway Adventures and Ollie Footitt Coaching, we went and SUPed the Upper Dart. It was low and techy, a little bit scary and insane amounts of fun!

Tom has been leading the charge on this, with several previous trips he's piecing together some hard moves.

A pretty serious undertaking, which needs a good crew. We scouted loads, set safety and made some good choices. Not every rapid was run, many were knelt. Some of us did more kneeling than others... in fact I'm still fairly sure Tom is practicing some form of magic to be as good as he is.
