On the stunning coastline Dawlish Warren is ideally located to visit Devons highlights. Air & Rail -Exeter Airport is 13.5 miles or 35 minutes away by car. Dawlish Warren is direct by train from Exeter Central or Exeter St Davids having links direct to London. By car Exeter, Exmouth, Dawlish, Teignmouth, Torbay, Newton Abbot and Plymouth are all with in an hour or so. The stunning heart of Devon- Dartmoor is easily accessible as is the stunning coastline and all its nook and crannies. On the doorstep Dawlish Warren railway station provides easy and picturesque access to the city of Exeter (15mins), Plymouth (1 Hr) and Exmouth (54 mins). Locally you can journey in minutes by train to Dawlish, Teignmouth, Paighton & Torquay, Newton Abbot, Totnes and beyond. Regular local bus services serve all the above local and major locations with bus stops located in the village centre. Just one train stop away the Starcross to Exmouth ferry operates, providing a stunning way to see the River Exe Estuary and enjoy the Exmouth resort. Local Bike hire offers the opportunity to experience the Exe Estuary Trail. This newly constructed cycle trail offers an almost entirely traffic-free, wonderfully level route which forms part of the South Coast NCN No.2.
