Hot Tub Safari at Pentre Mawr

Nestled in the grounds of Pentre Mawr is the Hot Tub Safari - peaceful, relaxing, glorious.
We spent 3 nights under canvas glamping in style, listening to Tawny Owls Hooting whilst being in a lovely warm bed serviced by not only snuggly covers but also an electric blanket. Self catering accommodation with all you could ever need, oven, hob, dishwasher and coffee machine.
We were walking 3 days on Offas D**e and not only did the Hot Tubs relieve our aching legs, Bre our host transported us to the start of our walk everyday and what an amazing thing that was, not only did it mean that we could avoid the logistics of start and end cars, it meant we had the pleasure of Bre's company and he local knowledge and stories of adopted Elephants in Africa.

Amazing host and stunning place

From the moment I drove in, I was gobsmacked by how beautiful Pentre Mawr is. The landscaping is gorgeous, and everywhere you look is a photograph. We stayed in a safari lodge, and it was super comfortable, the hugest bathroom imaginable and everything you need for a relaxing stay. Down to thoughtful touches like a hot water bottle on the bed waiting for us and electric blankets that our host Bre said she would happily turn on in the afternoon so they were waiting toasty for us when we got back!
Our dog was so welcomed, too, which makes such a difference. We sat out in the evenings by a stunning fire pit, laid for us every day, and chatted to the ponies who wandered by.
The setup is amazing, such a stunning place, and Bre was simply the best host. Cannot recommend enough ☺️

Where can I take my dog during my stay at Hot Tub Safari at Pentre Mawr?
While the restrictions are in place, you can only take your dog to
the designated dog exercise areas. These are:
• The beach area from the Kite Surf Café, Rhyl, eastwards to Ffrith Festival Gardens, Groyne 8, Prestatyn.
• The area to the east of The Sailing Club at Barkby Beach, Prestatyn.

Please check - There are signs and maps on the beach to show
where you can take your dog during the summer months.
• 1st October - 30th April: you can take your dog anywhere on the beach.
• 1st May - 30th September: restrictions are in place, so you can only take your dog to certain areas of the beach

Bring your furry friends on a country escape in Wales. They can run free in ours woods amongst the bluebells that are enclosed.
