Lock car and leave with your keys
Bay is closed
Then the robot comes and moves your car to another bay for duration ..

🤖 The robots are taking over... the car park.

We’re excited to announce that the UK’s first robotic airport parking service is launching in the South Terminal, in partnership with Stanley Robotics.

If reversing into a parking space isn't in your programming, we've got you covered. Simpy drive into one of our extra-wide parking garages, park up, keep your keys, and take a short walk or bus ride to the terminal while our robots do the heavy lifting. It couldn’t be more convenient.

Our parking robots uses advanced technology to carefully lift and park your car in a secure space. Then, when you return from your trip, your car will be ready and waiting for you in one of the garages.

The service is now on sale, with the first passengers set to "do the robot... parking" this August.

What is a liquid?

🍯Liquid or semi-liquid foods, such as soup, jam, honey, and syrups
🪥Pastes, including toothpaste
💄Make-up, including mascara and lip gloss

You can take liquid containers larger than 100ml through security if they:
💊 Are for essential medical purposes (these must be accompanied with a medical note or prescription) or for special dietary requirements
👶 Contain baby food or baby milk

My name is Angela and I am the founder of Be Travel Smart ®.

Travel is an integral part of our lives, for some it is an everyday occurrence, for others it is a treat and a rare journey. Either way travel needs lots of preparation and research. It is also expensive and once you have booked a holiday there are many things to take into account. With most people working full time, the challenge to find out the information is often fraught with confusion. As most of our staff are experienced in the travel industry, this comes easy to us and we know what works and what doesn’t.

We know how travelling with a disability is stressful and hard. We would like to empathise and raise awareness of this. We know there are so many scam sites offering visas and passports and holidays we want to protect you the consumer from getting caught out.

Travelling with children can also pose many questions, we aim to help you find the answers you need, from seating issues to car seats!

Our social media platforms feed the information to you, combined with travel news and updates from the companies that we know make the rules in aviation.

Holiday season is upon us and we must keep sharing this for personal safety !

🙏🏿Apologies if we have posted this many times but it is so important for awareness and our new followers !

PERSONAL SAFETY whilst away on holiday

✅Once in your hotel room, always use your ‘Do Not Disturb’ sign, whether you are in your room or not.
✅Use your peepholes and keep the chain on the door, when opening it.
❌Do not leave valuable items out on show. They do and can go missing!
✅Use your safe, or lock items in your suitcase, to stop temptation.
Travel insurance will want to know you have used your safe, so if the safe isn’t working- address it with the hotel or you may risk being uninsured.
✅Leave you room lights on, even if you are out in the evening.
✅Any magnetic strip card can be used to place in the key card slot, to keep the power on in the room. This is also ideal to keep the air con on if you are out for a short while and need the room cold for when you return.
✅Check the balcony doors and external doors LOCK securely before you unpack, including any adjoining doors to rooms next to yours.
✅Don't be afraid to ask to move rooms if you are unhappy about the security aspect of your room. Before you unpack!
✅Be aware of your surroundings, know your exit route and don't give your room numbers out loudly at the bar. People can overhear and will know your room is empty. This is the same with your room key, don’t leave it on show on the bar.
✅If you are worried about getting into a taxi on your own, you can always send a screenshot to your email address of the car reg. If they are a trusted taxi company they won’t mind.
❌Some of us like to pack our cases the day before we leave, just beware that once packed you will be unaware if anything was to go missing from your case until you get back home. So please lock your case, when you leave the room.
✅If you do have anything stolen from your hotel room make sure you get a crime ref for your travel insurance. Report it to the hotel and the local police.
