Barney’s Grand Day Out in Skegness with 🍦☀️🌊

As proud sponsors of Derbyshire Children’s Holiday Centre, the Rayburn Tours team (along with our furry friend Barney), were thrilled to join families on a well-deserved seaside escape as part of the centre’s fully funded Grand Day Out.

We began the day at the Holiday Centre, where families enjoyed refreshments and had the chance to explore the facilities that provide fully-funded holidays to disadvantaged children. It was inspiring to hear first-hand how these trips positively impact young lives, and to see the exciting developments underway to welcome back groups in 2026.

The rest of the day was filled with sunshine, sand, and smiles as families made the most of their time by the sea, returning with plenty of happy stories to share.

It was a pleasure to show our continued support for an organisation we've proudly partnered with over the years.

Armonico Consort invited us to their incredible production of Beowulf, featuring young musicians from the AC Academy performing alongside the talented professionals of Armonico Consort.

We also had the chance to meet the gifted scholar Angus, whose musical journey is supported by Armonico Consort's Treasurer, and Rayburn Tours Chairman John Boyden, along with his wife.

An unforgettable evening celebrating the talent and passion of these remarkable musicians!
