Last week we asked:

“If you could eliminate just one cyber threat from your organisation, which would it be?”

The result was a tie:

🔹 Data Breaches – 50%
🔹 Employee Error – 50%

Not surprising when you consider that Verizon's 2025 DBIR found nearly 60% of data breaches involve a human element.

The takeaway? Technology and security controls are essential, but people remain a critical part of cyber defence.

Regular security awareness training, phishing simulations, and clear security processes can help reduce risk.

Quick Tip: If you receive an urgent payment request, gift card request, or any unusual instruction:
✅ Check the sender's actual email address. Be careful, attackers often use lookalike domains such as .com instead of .com.
✅ Verify the request through Microsoft Teams or a phone call.
✅ Be cautious of messages that create a sense of urgency.

What does your fridge say about your office?

Ours tells quite the story.

A quick glance inside and you'll find the fuel behind busy days, big ideas.

There are healthy choices from the organised among us. The emergency chocolate stash for those challenging afternoons.

A collection of half finished drinks that nobody is willing to claim.

And enough milk to keep the coffee machine working overtime.

But more than that, our fridge reflects the people who make this place what it is.

The early starters grabbing a snack before a busy day.

The technicans sharing treats to celebrate birthdays, milestones, and wins.

The conversations that happen while waiting for the kettle to boil.

It's easy to focus on projects, targets, and deadlines. Sometimes it's the things in between that say the most about a workplace.
