At least the third year in a row that Bottlenose Dolphins have graced the Treshnish Isles in April! Fingers crossed they stick around for a little while!

Took a wee spin up to the Carnaburgh Isles today. It can be challenging to get ashore but this good spell of weather made it simple!

The video is from near the old barracks looking across the chapel to the Rum, Muck and Eigg with Skye Cuillins behind, Cailleach Point, Treshnish Head, Haunn then Across Carnaburgh Beag into Loch a Tuath!

In Episode 2 of The Grand Island Hotel, Banjo and Ro take some time out with Turus Mara to visit the Treshnish Isles for some Puffin Therapy.

We were delighted to be part of things, providing their own personal boat trip to Lunga where they relaxed with an intimate supper with the puffins!

Because the Grand Island Hotel series has today hit our screens, it feels an appropriate time to share a few pics from a recent visit to Ulva.

This is also a reminder that Turus Mara run regular day trips from Oban to visit Ulva and Staffa during April and from August in association with The Ulva Ferry. It really is a stunning island to visit and highly recommended.

This has been our best summer ever for common dolphin sightings. Forty plus days in a row. It is just such a joy to experience their playful antics! This wee pod was between Staffa and the Treshnish Isles.
