THIS SATURDAY Ditchling Open Gardens Trail: Explore Beautiful Gardens opening in aid of St Peter and St James Hospice

DITCHLING, EAST SUSSEX – Discover nine lovely private gardens in Ditchling on Saturday, June 21st, 2025, from 10:30 AM to 4:30 PM. Visit new locations opening for the first time, including one in Westmeston. Enjoy a range of sizes, designs and planting styles, many created with wildlife in mind! There will be refreshments, plus art, crafts, and plants to buy.

Sussex Craft Week Open Studio Event: Laurence Moracchini

Based at the famous Turner Dumbrell Workshops, Laurence is a multi-disciplinary artist who breathes new life into reclaimed materials, particularly wood, by using eco-friendly finishes and creating her own natural dyes. See a range of works including woodworking, mixed media paintings, prints, enamelled metal and jewellery.

14-15 June and 20-22 June (the studio is closed from 16-19 June) 11am-5pm.

Join us in Ditchling this weekend on the Art in Ditchling Trail, for the final weekend of Artists Open Houses. This year Art in Ditchling have launched an exciting Prize Draw, offering 13 fantastic prizes. Visit any of the venues this bank holiday weekend to enter for free.

Each of the venues is offering a unique prize, generously donated by participating artists. Prizes include:
- A Guitar making book with text by Ian Chisholm (exhibiting at Venue 9: Blue Shed Studio), featuring photographs by Kris Pawlowski
- ‘Girl with red hair’, a 30x30cm painting by Sebastian Pedley (exhibiting at Venue 1: Sunnyside 19)
