We only went and won it!

Last night, OLS was named SME Employer of the Year at the South Yorkshire Apprenticeship Awards 2026, and to make the evening even better, our Shelley received Special Recognition for Degree Apprentice of the Year.

This comes just weeks after winning Small Enterprise Employer of the Year at the Nottingham Trent University Apprentice Awards.
What a month!

Team Breakfast🥓🍳☕

Yesterday morning, we brought our engineers and management team together for a breakfast meeting, creating time and space for open, honest conversation.

Over coffee and a good breakfast, the focus was on sharing ideas to enhance our working environment and strengthen team relationships. It was a valuable opportunity for everyone to contribute, with discussions centred around:

- Improving day-to-day collaboration
- Strengthening communication across teams
- Identifying ways to create an even more supportive and positive culture

These sessions reflect our ongoing commitment to listening, evolving, and ensuring OLS remains a great place to work for every member of the team.

A positive start to Friday, and a great example of team-driven improvement in action.

Tonight, Andrew and Shelley are heading to Nottingham Trent University for the Apprenticeship Awards where OLS has been shortlisted for Apprentice Employer of the Year – Small Enterprise.

That’s a wrap on a brilliant week! ✨

..... you were incredible. Everyone from has returned to the office full of positive, glowing feedback.

We have had some wonderful conversations and it was great to get out and see all the latest technologies.

Ollie and Jason attended on the Tuesday and managed to swing by the Acre Security stand and collect our 🏆. Naturally, some of the team couldn’t resist a quick photoshoot with it… we’ll just leave that here ✌️

Shelley, had a very busy week over on the Suprema Inc. stand, showcasing our Digital Ticketing Solution and was joined by Andy for the Integrate26 event on Wednesday evening.

Events like this continue to reinforce the strength of our partnerships and the innovation driving our solutions forward. We’re excited to build on the conversations started this week and turn them into real-world outcomes for our clients.
