Great Driffield Women's Business Association

Great Driffield Women's Business Association We arranged our maiden meeting for 20th May 2015, when we met and developed our vision. Our rules of membership are simple and inclusive.

Inspired by an idea from Claire Taylor to network and support other self employed women, we have quickly grown into a fledging group of local business women with a strong ethos to support each other and our community. Any woman who lives and has her own business in YO25 is welcome to join us, no business is excluded and everyone is welcome. There are no fees, no cliques, no paid for advertising an

d no competition between members. Members are expected to be active and involved in the planning of events, the attendance of meetings, and have the option to be involved in our members social events should they wish. Our aim is to make the "not necessarily on the high street" business of Driffield more visible, and remind our town what is Great about Driffield! We have a wealth of experience and an eclectic diversity of skills in our community which we believe is undervalued currently. We hope to become a reference point for our community when looking for a local tradesperson, business, professional or specialist. We'd like to become involved in community events and raise awareness of our business, and of the charities we have chosen to support. This year we have voted to support the Driffield Foodbank and the Skatepark. It was important to us that we invested in the youth provision in our town, and offered appropriate support to the families who are struggling in what for many are difficult times. Our plan is to host two annual events to showcase each other, and to raise funds and donations for our chosen charities. Our first event is planned for Winter 2015, and we look forward to meeting you in person there. Further details will be advertised in the coming months. Member meetings are monthly, and we are contactable via our page " Great Driffield Women's Business Association". With Claire as Secretary, myself as Chairperson, and Kim Hickson as additional Admin, we look forward to welcoming you to our group, showcasing local women and their business, meeting you at events, and becoming a point of reference when you are looking to support local. Let's work together to be part of Great Driffield! Best wishes

The Bike Cave philosophy:
Basic, straight forward good old fashioned quality customer service. This means knowledgeably informing and guiding customers towards the correct parts, accessories, servicing or new bike that suites their needs perfectly.
The Bike Cave has a fully functioning workshop and can complete anything from a puncture repair to a full custom spec bike build. Whatever your needs, come in and discuss the options. We have a large stock of parts and accessories, however if you prefer to buy online and supply us the parts will happily fit them to your cycle.
At The Bike Cave we welcome everyone with open arms, complete novice to semi-pro super-keen road racer, town bike to triathlon speed machine are all welcome.
The Bike Cave is proud to be a true independent bike shop, and is not tied into a particular bike and accessory brand.
Here at The Bike Cave we do not stock the shop to the rafters with an obscene amount of bikes. If we do not have what is required in stock, we can source the correct model for the customers individual needs and wants.
The Bike Cave is here to serve and support and grow the local cycling community of East Yorkshire.
The Bike Cave loves feedback, so please if you have any, email us at [email protected]

Kind Regards,
Lou
