Christmas has arrived at wrap around care! We have been making lots of Christmas crafts including a big advent calendar, a big snowman and some paper chains ☃️🎄🎅🏻

As it’s children in need day today we’ve been doing lots of fun activities , including Rice Krispie cakes , a quiz and dressing up with pudsey accessories.

Phoenix Childcare are looking for an enthusiastic member of staff to join our Wrap Around Care Team. We provide breakfast and afterschool club to St Peters First School children on site. You will be working with children from 4-9 years so some experience within this age group is essential.

Your roles:

Ensure all children are engaged and have an exciting time with us at wrap around care
To plan, carry out and evaluate activities for groups of children
Always ensure children’s safety
To work with the rest of the team
Light cooking duties – preparing breakfast and snack tea.
Handovers with parents
Shifts will be Monday – Friday 7.30-8.30, 2.45-5.45

Part-time hours: 20 per week

This week there has been something spooky going on at wrap around care.....lots of Halloween activities including pumpkin carving, making Halloween bunting to decorate the den and finishing with our Halloween party where we have played lots of games and saw lots of spooky costumes.

Next Friday (22nd October) we will be having a Halloween party at after school club , if your child attends and would like to bring either fancy dress or black or orange clothes to change into this will be fine, we hope to have a spooky time! 👻🎃
