Folowing on from our 8 days on the IOW, we quickly found ourselves on a 7 day tour of Llandudno and Snowdonia. We stayed a the Hydro Hotel right on the sea front. We visited the Cadnant Hidden Gardens, (they were not that hidden as i managed to find them) we had a trip to Betws-y-Coed, then down Llanberis pass and into Caernarfon. We also took a steam train ride from Caernarfon to Portmadog. On our way home we call into The British Iron Works in Oswestry. We have another stay at The Hydro Hotel in November.

In May we spent 8 days on the Isle of Wight, at the Shanklin Hotel, from Sunday 24th to Sunday 31st. We had exceptional weather reaching into the high 20s.
We had an Island tour wich spread over 2 days. Some of us took a boat trip on ourrest days and saw the Queen Elizabeth aircraft carrier, dock into portsmouth naval docks. We went to Godshill for cake, a lunch at the Wight Mouse Inn, we saw donkeys, Osbourne house, for those that wanted to go and Quarr Abbey.
We still have a Shanklin tour available in September.
I even went to the upside down house lol

I am a great fan of alfresco dining and today had to indulge my passion for a jumbo hot dog and a hot cup of tea. Overdid the mustard a bit and the seat was wet but still very enjoyable

Tuesday in Cornwall took us to Marazion in the morning as the tide was at its lowest, however not low enough to walk the causeway to St Micheals Mount, the boats were runing though. Then on to Lands End for lunch.
