A stylishly furnished cottage perfect for family gatherings. Easy access for walking and cycling enthusiasts to trails, including the Wayfarer & South Downs Way trail. Our detached holiday cottage and annexe enjoy a rural location and lie on the edge of Droxford in the beautiful Meon Valley and South Downs National Park. Both the cottage and the annexe are furnished to provide a home from home fee

l with added comforts, including a wood-burning stove, open fires and a gym in the annexe with a punch bag, cross trainer and curl bar. The large lawned garden is a haven in the summer months, providing a perfect setting for al fresco dining with friends or family. Pets are welcomed at The Crest. Along with many other beautiful villages, West Meon is 5 miles, with pubs serving great food and where the founder of Lords cricket rests; Wickham and Bishops Waltham are both 6 miles and host an array of independent shops, cafes and restaurants. Within easy reach are the glorious South Downs, Portsmouth with historic ship yards, the Spinnaker Tower, waterside dining & ferry trips to the Isle of Wight, Cathedral cities Winchester & Chichester, Southampton with its remarkable maritime history, the vast array of scenic walks in the New Forest, beaches at Lee-On-Solent, Hill Head and The Witterings. Walking and cycling enthusiasts will enjoy both the Meon Valley Railway Line trail, accessible from Droxford, and Beacon Hill accessed via Exton (2 miles). Shop, PO and two pubs (one was Good Pub Guide ‘Hampshire dining pub of the year 2011’), located in Droxford Village. Some keys features of The Crest include:

A cancellation just received means we have the week of 22nd August available.

Our 4 bedroom house and 1 bedroom annex sleeps 9, plus we welcome dogs.

Set on the south coast of England, in the heart of the South Downs country park, and surrounded by beautiful pubs, beaches and fun days out.

The annexe kitchen has recieved and well deserved update with the help of our friends .

Happy Kitchens made this amazing transformation happen between guests leaving 10am Monday and arriving 2pm Friday! We then got in there to paint, switch the fridge freezer for a new one, clean and set up. Nail biting stuff!!

Wait what?!?!

When you stay at The Crest you can get to the beach???? But it's in the middle of the countryside, isn't it?

Well, I'll have you know that you can indeed reach several beaches within 30 minutes.

This beach here is Lee-On-The-Solent.

We parked in Hill Head and walked to have lunch at , where Jack the dog sprinted under all the tables, evading my pathetic lunges to grab him, polishing off all the dropped crumbs 🐕

A whole day out for the family with the right there, don't forget to bring your 🪙 for the 2p machines.

We absolutely love having children amongst the guests staying at The Crest.

Along with the playhouse, slide, swing, bikes & dollhouse, we have a little fella who seems to capture the heart of those staying.

Our black & white cat stuffy found a weekend mamma in our latest guest who drew this affectionate picture 💓
