✨️ SHELTERED Balcony Cabin Tour - Deck 6, Aft, Cabin No 6243. Made up as a twin but can be converted to double ✨️

Here is a quick tour of the cabin I have just stayed in on Cunard, Queen Mary 2.

Positives:
βœ…οΈ It was very quiet - I slept well
βœ…οΈ Plenty of wardrobe storage - there was even spare room!
βœ…οΈ Not far from the lifts - so handy when exploring other decks
βœ…οΈ Self service launderette very close by with FREE to use washers, dryers and washing sheets - I did a wash towards the end of the cruise and brought home mostly clean clothes, a great feeling
βœ…οΈ Fabulous views and a nice breeze - plenty of photo opportunities

To take into consideration:
πŸŒ… If you like sitting out on your balcony to have a drink, read, watch the sunset/sunrise etc then I would recommend paying a little bit more and upgrading to a balcony cabin that has a full view and is not sheltered.

πŸ“We visited the port of Olden, Norway πŸžπŸ”
✨️ A peaceful village located in the mouth of the Oldeelva River ✨️
πŸ”ΉοΈ I enjoyed seeing winding valleys, peaks, waterfalls and plenty of snow.
❀️ The air felt clean and fresh and there was a lovely slow pace of life!
πŸ”ΉοΈ I went on the Loen Skylift cable car (well worth the trip) and then took a short hike further up to take in even more stunning views
