A Wickedly Good Afternoon Tea… for a wonderful cause! 🎃

On 27 October, the DP&L Travel team will be hosting a Halloween afternoon tea at our headquarters to raise money for Children's Hospices Across Scotland.

Expect staff costumes, Halloween treats, fun games and some memorable challenges - all in support of this fantastic cause.

When we hit our...
£30 target: Stuart will dress as a mummy using whatever we can find around the office.
£50 target: Adam will dress as a unicorn and tackle an obstacle course.
£100 target: Helen will brave a cold plunge in a bucket of freezing water!

A reminder for anyone planning their next getaway: for every holiday booked through our sister company DP&L Holidays from 26–28 October, we’ll donate £20 to CHAS, and on the day, they will be having an in-store afternoon tea at 4 Logies Lane, St Andrews. Pop in to chat with our holiday team and potentially grab a £50 off your next holiday voucher!

Whether you donate directly or book your next holiday, you’ll be helping support children and families across Scotland. Thank you for your generosity!

Returning from the EU soon? Check the latest rules before you pack.

A quick reminder for travellers: restrictions remain in place on bringing certain meat and dairy products from the EU into Great Britain for personal use. These measures help protect British livestock against foot-and-mouth disease.

Restricted items include pork, beef, lamb, mutton, goat and venison, products made from these meats such as sausages, and milk, cheese, butter and yoghurt.

Packaging or buying an item at duty free does not make it exempt.

Limited exceptions apply to powdered infant milk, infant food and special food needed for medical reasons, subject to specific conditions. Restrictions also affect sandwiches containing restricted meat or dairy, so check before packing food for your journey.

Before you travel, check the latest rules via the link in the comments.

At DP&L Travel, we help you stay informed so you can travel with confidence.
