Dundee City Council Employability Service Supporting unemployed adults living in Dundee City and helping them back into the workplace.

The Discover Work Partnership provides funding for the delivery of services that support people into sustainable employment. Those services are collectively known as the citywide Discover Work Service. The Discover Work Service is part funded by the European Social Fund. A Graduate Apprenticeship could be the perfect route — earn a full‑time salary while working towards an honours degree with the University of Dundee.

📣 We’re proud to share an incredible milestone for Dundee City Council’s Employability Team.📣

Since April 2025, our all‑age employability service has supported 277 people into positive destinations including employment, further education, self‑employment, and Modern Apprenticeships.

As part of the city‑wide Discover Work partnership, this achievement reflects our commitment to Scotland’s No One Left Behind approach ensuring everyone in Dundee, regardless of age or background, can access the right support at the right time.

Working alongside Discover Work partners, local employers, and community organisations, our team continues to remove barriers, create opportunities, and help people take their next steps with confidence.
