NEXT ARRIVAL | AMBITION ❗❗❗ Last Cruise of the Year ❗❗❗

Ambition will return on Friday the 21st of August returning from a 13 night cruise exploring Iceland and sailing up to the coast of Greenland to see the Solar Eclipse.

Expected to arrive in the morning at around 9am with an expected departure time at around 6pm and will be heading down to Newcastle to start her itineries from there until september.

Currently this stand as the end to the cruising season in Dundee as far as sheduled calls go, but we have been surprised in the past by the odd arrival later in the year. We will try to keep an eye out for any unexpected arrivals.

🌑❤️🛳️ A spectacular solar eclipse cruise will set sail from Dundee to the Mediterranean in 2027!

Ambassador Cruise Line has announced a huge 19-night voyage aboard Ambition, departing Dundee on 27 July 2027 and travelling through Portugal, Gibraltar and Spain - with a total solar eclipse at the heart of the adventure.

The ship will call at Gibraltar on 2 August, when one of the biggest astronomical events of the decade takes place, before continuing to destinations including Almeria, Alicante, Valencia, Ibiza, Ceuta, Cadiz and Vigo.

It means passengers will be able to board a ship right here in Dundee and journey all the way to the Mediterranean and a total solar eclipse - before sailing back up the Tay and arriving home on 15 August!

The announcement comes just days after Dundee experienced a 91% partial solar eclipse!
