Just last weekend alone, 46 paddleboarders on Loch Lomond had to be returned to shore for not having a life jacket or buoyancy aid on board.

Byelaws are in place on Loch Lomond to further improve public safety, including that all under 16s must wear a life jacket or buoyancy aid when on any moving vessel. And, life jackets or buoyancy aids must still be carried on board for all those 16 and over - although wearing them is always safer!
