Time to say goodbye 👋

This month will be the last time The Yard Hideaway doors are open. We have made the difficult decision to no longer host guests in our little hideaway due to the demands of daily family life.

We are thankful to all of our guests who have walked through the door of The Hideaway over the last 5 years and for the opportunities it provided us during that time.

We wish you all the best for the future but for now it's time to say goodbye from our little Hideaway and our family

What a weekend 🤯🤯

A massive thank you to everyone for making this year's Beatsons Building Supplies Jim Clark Rally weekend a massive success.

From our fantastic spectators and fans who listened to our requests, to the entire community for accepting us into their lives and being part of our journey.

Our competitors, officials, stakeholder, local authorities, partners and sponsors - the list is huge and we thank you ALL.

Now then...who's up for doing it all again in 2025?

Eight gorgeous cygnets were born on the Hen Poo last week. If you look closely you will see five in the water and three on their mother’s back, making the most of the May sunshine.

Santa will be at the Square in Duns, 4:30 until 6:00pm, on Christmas Eve. There will be Mulled Wine, Christmas Pies and Carol singing for the adults and, for the first time since 2019, children will be able to speak to Santa. 🤶

Time is ticking on so if this is on your mind at all, please do make sure you get your email in before the end of the month.

Plans are now well under way for our 2024 Festival week.

Duns Summer Festival are now inviting applications for the 2024 Reivers Party.

The week will be from Sunday 7th July – Saturday 13th July 2024, installation will be on Friday 19th April.

Applicants must be aged 18 years or over.

Applications must be emailed to Ann Lindsay, secretary at [email protected] by Friday 31st December 2023.

Interviews will take place in January for successful applicants.
