One of our favourite things about our views is the ever changing light. Tonight everything went into soft-focus just as the sun was going down and just before a short sharp shower of rain. It felt like living in a watercolour painting. Photos can’t really do it justice….

One of the questions we get asked more than anything is what the weather will be like tomorrow/ next week/ next year…. And the answer always is whatever the forecast there is no real knowing! Very often it is better that you think. Today’s forecast said we had an 80-90% chance of rain every hour all day. So far I have been warm in my t-shirt working in the garden and walking the dog, wearing sun cream… when in Skye never rely on a forecast, even on the same day!

Always love stopping on the way back home from the mainland just before crossing the Skye Bridge to take in the views….
