Some people don’t dream about following the crowds.

Some people dream about standing in places where very few ever go.

About hearing nothing but the wind in the mountains.

RECOVERY. PREPARATION. PERFORMANCE.

I’m delighted to announce that I am now being supported by CryoCube as I prepare for the biggest challenge of my life – BTS27 – Beyond The Summit 2027.

As the training intensity ramps up, recovery becomes just as important as the miles, mountains, and hours of hard work. That’s why I’ll be using a Hyperbaric Oxygen Therapy (HBOT) chamber every day as part of my preparation for BTS27.

HBOT works by increasing oxygen delivery throughout the body in a pressurised environment, helping support recovery, healing, performance, and overall wellbeing. When you’re preparing for an expedition of this scale, every advantage counts.

What is BTS27?

BTS27 is my attempt to complete what could become the World’s Biggest Triathlon:

• Climb Mount Everest and Mount Lhotse consecutively

• Descend from the Himalayas by mountain bike

• Continue the journey by kayak, following rivers fed by Everest’s meltwater

A single, continuous, human-powered adventure designed to push the limits of endurance, resilience, and human performance.

Having spent over 20 years leading expeditions around the world through Alexander Adventures, I know that success isn’t built on one big effort—it’s built on thousands of small decisions made consistently over time.

This partnership with CryoCube is one of those decisions.

Kanchenjunga Trek – Nepal
27th November – 13th December 2026

One of the last great wilderness treks in the Himalayas. Far from the crowds, this expedition takes you deep into eastern Nepal beneath Kanchenjunga, the world’s third-highest mountain. Remote valleys, towering peaks, rich local culture and a true expedition atmosphere make this one of the most rewarding adventures on the planet.

Everest Base Camp – BTS27 Special Expedition
17th – 30th May 2027

This is no ordinary Everest Base Camp trek.

As part of the BTS27 challenge, you’ll trek through the legendary Khumbu Valley and journey to the foot of the world’s highest mountain. Along the way you’ll experience the rich Sherpa culture, breathtaking Himalayan scenery and the incredible atmosphere that surrounds Everest.

The highlight? During the expedition, you’ll meet Joe Alexander as he descends from the summit of Mount Everest and Mount Lhotse as part of his historic BTS27 challenge. Few people will ever have the opportunity to witness such a moment firsthand, making this a truly unique Everest experience and a chance to be part of an extraordinary story unfolding in real time.
