Gwendrock Twyr is a perfect base for staying in Looe. It is located literally a minutes walk from the main street, and the beach can also be accessed within a couple of minutes walk down the steps located just up from the property. The apartment is furnished to a very high standard and a contemporary style. The open plan layout of the lounge and kitchen is great for ensuring you spend maximum time with your family. The views from both the lounge and the master bedroom are amazing and sitting with the doors open makes you feel like you are on the beach!!! The only downside that I would mention is the lack of a parking space for the property. However, due to its location this is understandable and the need to park just outside the main town is outweighed by the premium location that this apartment offers. We parked our car on the Mill Pool long stay car park for £38.50 for 1 week (very reasonable price) which is located about 10/15 mins walk along the high street out of Looe. This didn't pose any problems to us on the basis that the weather we had was out of this world and didn't need to use the car the entire time we were there. Looe has plenty of great places to eat. The Smugglers Cott is great for a Sunday carvery. The Golden Guinea offers great pub food and Cafe Rendezvous a great Full English Breakfast. Best of all, you can get some great fish and chips from Catch located just down the alley opposite the Ship Inn. All in all Looe is a great place to stay and I would definitely recommend Gwendrock as a place to base yourself as it has everything to offer and more!!! I would also like to thank Stella for her excellent communication all the way through the booking process and also for allowing us to stay on all day on our day of departure so that we did not need to rush off in the morning, as there were no guests arriving on this day.

"It's got to be the no.1 place to stay in Looe."

Fantastic penthouse with awesome views across Looe. Everything you could wish for a perfect stay. This penthouse is decorated and furnished to a high standard and it was spotlessly clean. Only stayed for 2 days but it left us wanting more. The kids loved the window seats.
