Visit the Marino Ballena National Park in Uvita to hike forest trails and spot wildlife such as howler monkeys and white faced monkeys, scarlet macaws, trogons, hummingbirds and many more. Hike along the beach to the famous whale tail which is naturally formed at low tide. The area is also famous for spotting humpback whales that breed in the waters, best months to view are August and September.
