Yesterday, we were delighted to be invited down to the beautiful Leonardslee Gardens for an exclusive travel showcase. We'd not been before, so it was a treat to be able to have a sneak peak🌳

We spent the morning catching up with our luxury suppliers, hoteliers, and tourist boards to gather fresh inspiration for your future holidays.

The "Mar-Bella Collection" Expansion: We have sent so many of you to their stunning properties in Corfu over the years. Very exciting to hear that they have just taken over a brand-new property in Crete! It looks absolutely magnificent and promises to bring that exact same five-star luxury to a new Greek island.

🇬🇷 New hotel brand in Corfu: We were introduced to "Major," a new luxury hotel collection in Corfu with some truly beautiful, intimate properties.

🏝️ Tropical Island Treasures: We sat down with the tourist boards for both the Grand Cayman Islands and Aruba to hear all about the newest hotel openings and flight updates hitting the Caribbean.

We chatted to Sarah from Audley, who explained the unique tailor-made travel itineraries they offer, completely bespoke itineraries around the world.

And it was nice to meet a representative from Simpson Travel. Although, they've been around for years, they've not really been on our radar until now. Very interested to start looking at what they can offer our customers in the future.

After a really lovely lunch, we couldn't resist sneaking away to visit Leonardslee's famous resident wallabies before heading back to the office!

When it comes to packing for a holiday, are you a planner - who lays out every outfit weeks in advance, or are you sitting on your suitcase at midnight trying to force it closed?

I have to confess, even after over 25 years working as a travel agent, I am firmly in the last-minute "ram it all in and hope for the best" camp! There is always that sudden panic that I've forgotten something vital, even though I do this for a living.
