🌊☀️ SEPTEMBER IN EASTBOURNE… IS THERE A BETTER TIME?

Summer may officially be winding down, but here in Eastbourne we’re not quite ready to give up on beach days just yet! 😎

🍂 EARLY AUTUMN IN EASTBOURNE 🌊

There’s something rather special about Eastbourne as summer starts to turn into autumn…

The crowds ease, the light gets softer and, at low tide, the beach seems to stretch all the way towards Beachy Head. 💙

This is one of those views that reminds us how lucky we are to have the sea and the South Downs right on our doorstep.

Perfect for a leisurely walk, a bracing paddle, a dog walk with Madge 🐾 or simply stopping for a few minutes to take it all in.

And autumn really is a beautiful time to explore Eastbourne and the Seven Sisters coastline — without the height-of-summer crowds.

🌿🐶 An idyllic end to summer at Beachy Head just outside Eastbourne…

There are some places that remind you just how lucky we are to have the South Downs and the Sussex coast right on our doorstep. 💙

This is Beachy Head at the end of summer, with office dog Madge enjoying the peaceful surroundings, warm temperatures and wonderfully calm conditions. 🐾☀️

🌧️🌊 Ahhh… the August Bank Holiday in Eastbourne! 😂

Just when you thought summer was here for good…

Typical Bank Holiday weather has entered the chat. ☔️😆

Grey skies, a little drizzle, a fresh sea breeze and a rather empty seafront — but do you know what? We still love it. 💙

Because Eastbourne isn't just about blue skies and sunshine. There's something rather atmospheric about the seafront when the clouds roll in, the sea is looking moody and you've got the promenade almost to yourself.

And there's still plenty to do:
