Hi All,
Unfortunately, we are not able to run the Mighty Oaks for the foreseeable future.
We have tried to think of ways we may continue, but unfortunately, we cannot find a way forward at this time.
We have loved running the Holiday Club alongside the nursery and will miss seeing you all.
We wish all of the best of luck in the future

We are thrilled to announce we are re-opening on 20th December!!!!

We will be running Mighty Oaks on the Monday 20th, Tuesday 21st and Wednesday 22nd December 2021 in preparation for our relaunch next year!

We have missed you all.

It is with regret that we have taken the decision to not run for the rest of the year. We would love to see our Holiday Club children back with us, however, we also need to have a clearer picture of the impact of children returning to school with regards to covid.

Our covid risk assessment does not allow for visitors to our setting, and still asks for children to only be attending one setting to minimise the potential spread of covid, this also allows for a more effective track and trace.

We can only apologise for any inconvenience this causes, and hope that we see you again next year.

Unfortunately we have made the very difficult decision to close the holiday club for the summer and reassess the situation in September.

We have emailed and phoned everyone who has booked in already and would like to thank them for their understanding.

We have closed the survey monkey so we do not get any new bookings in the meantime.

We hope all of our lovely families understand, and we look forward to seeing you later in the year.

Yesterday Mighty Oaks Holiday Club took part in a painting workshop that Dawn had put on for them.

Dawn went to her very own workshop before Christmas and learnt how to make a beautiful snowy tree painting. She has then taught us how to make that same picture. The children listened very well to every instruction and completed each stage step by step. They used black and white paint to create different effects with paint brushes and tin foil.

The children did very well to create their own pictures and they were super excited about their finished pictures. The children painted the canvases, blending together the different colours to make different grey colours. They then practiced drawing trees with a pencil then paint. Once the children were confident they then painted the tree into the canvases as added snow and glitter to finish it off.

We have lots of fun activities planned for half term and hope you can join us.

There will be library trips to take part in different activities such as board games and crafts. There is also a cinema trip and a make your own pizza day.

Price for a full day which includes all meals and activities are £33 and for a half day either 8-1 or 1-6 are £22
