Is leisure travel back on, TTF Cycling Events believe so?

After nearly two years, have we finally come to a point where the world is opening again?

At TTF Cycling Events we believe so and as a result, have our first tour since 2019 with a small group of select riders in Majorca between the 31st March and 4th April 2022. Like most people, we’ve been chomping at the bit to ride in the glorious Majorcan sunshine, on the legendary smooth roads, up the odd hill or two and around the mountain twists and turns… avoiding the goats where possible!

TTF trips have always been about getting people together at any cycling level, helping to push riders limits a little and meeting people who are like minded. You know, the type of rider that realises they’re not going to be KOM or win a sprint stage and are totally fine with it. Mind you, that doesn’t mean to say last to the lunch venue doesn’t buy the drinks!
Now throw in an all-inclusive first-class hotel in Puerto Pollensa, great food, wine, beer, or a soft drink or two, mix it up with getting to see some of the best cycling routes in Majorca and you have a great recipe for success.

TTF Cycling, what the... what are you doing now Chmarny? Hmmm, come to think of it, you'll be good at that... So what precisely is TTF Cycling and what does it do. Well here goes.

TTF Cycling is a fun based tour company aimed at groups of road cyclists who want to ride some of the most famous routes in Europe.

The company came about after a few beers and a wine filled dinner in North Africa. It was during a press event I was running for the Marrakesh Etap back in 2014. The group of cycling journalist and good friends of mine were talking about what our pet hates were, I stupidly told them being called Tony was top of my list! However, while explaining this I expressed how much I hated it with two forks in my hands… One of the journalist, great at inventing alternative characters launched into an American gangster accent, something like Al Pacino as Michael Corleone in the Godfather and Tony Two Forks was born.

Tony was instantly turned into an expert assassin using household cutlery, namely two forks, working out of a bike shop in the Bronx. The rest of the trip saw bursts of TTF come out at the most inappropriate times, it was funny honest! Hmmm... Ok, probably the wine that made it more funny!

It wasn’t until 2016 did the idea for the cycling tour business aimed at individuals, groups of mates and cycling clubs really blossom and a name was needed. It had to be TTF Cycling because of the Marrakesh press event. It summed up the ethos of the company which was all about having fun and pushing your limits and trust me, the Atlas Mountains certainly push your limits!

In 2017, TTF Cycling undertook its first trip with a group of riders to Mallorca, this was to see if the concept of bringing different riders of different abilities together worked. The feedback was very positive and TTF Cycling was born.

BUT PLEASE NOTE, we only cycle and just for the record... TTF doesn’t undertake assassinations with household cutlery and is not based out of a bike shop in the Bronx!
