So a nice change of pace and doing a small private group tour for American friends. Remit was Highlands of Scotland and a cross border raid into England.

So started by heading up to the Kyle of Lochalsh via Tynedrum, Glencoe, Eilean Donan Castle. Then heading up over Bealach na Ba (pass of the cattle) to Applecross before following the coast to Ullapool. We then headed up to Kylesku bridge, Smoo cave before lunch in Tongue. Heading South to Inverness through quiet roads before finishing of the Highlands over Glenshee to Edinburgh.

For cross border raid we headed down through the borders into Yorkshire. Through the amazing roads and villages to York for the city walls and shambles. We then went vampire chasing to Whitby and spent the day relaxing in the fishing town.

Back now in Edinburgh for the festival and military tattoo in the coming days 😎👌

A wee trip up the Highlands with some American friends. A nice change before I head into Europe at end of the month. A small custom tour group to the Alps to finish off the season after this.

Popped into BikespeedUK for some upcoming work in 2027. Some exciting tours in the works and a lot of work behind the scenes to make it all special for clients.

In the meantime I was also checking out some of the range and I'm liking the Voge. That's a lot of bike for touring for not much cash, basically a BMW engined bike. I get spoiled with having Rockets 3's but I miss my Super Tenere's.

Well, what can I say but that's us all safely home after an epic 2-week trip. Starting in the Lake District, heading down through Wales into England. Picking up the ferry to Bilbao 🇪🇸 to spend 5 days riding through the Pyrenees into France 🇫🇷. From there spending most of that week riding the backroads North.

2 nights were spent in the Central Massif in an awesome hotel with a large pool and a full wellness centre. We were lucky, mostly out of the UK, with dry, hot weather. Empty scenic Spanish roads before heading North into the amazing French countryside.

Some very happy bikers are now at home after weeks of great roads, hotels and home-cooked food. Fantastic trip with some hidden local gems after a day of Twisty Roads.

As we're booked into one hotel for 2 nights then offer of free day at hotel pool or a short bike run. Headed of for some central massif roads and an early return to hotel.

So a group decision to have a shorter day so that a night into town can be had. Still an amazing biking day to get to the next hotel. Spain just keeps on giving and an evening meal in an original old stone house. Fab hotel to finish the day in a small rural village.

What a day and now done sea to sea, started from Bay of Biscay and now looking at the Mediterranean 😎👌. Amazing roads and company it's what tours are all about.

Now for some dinner looking over the Mediterranean.
