End of the Fringe series and it might seem a bit less than some of it, but I set a goal to do one every day of the proceedings and it worked. I’m grateful I got to sing with a variety of performers and I hope it helped someone find a show, but if not, I’m glad we got to build this wee weird thing together.

It’s one of the silliest ideas I’ve had, but commitment to the bit is one of the core tenets of the festival and we absolutely committed

Today I met the lovely of and they’re doing a play called Sobremesa which sounds intense - it has the tagline “Are there always two sides to every story” and it sounds provocative

I wonder if his song choice of Jolene relates

Close-magic from who are doing their show at Liquid Rooms Warehouse at 2pm. I love a bit of magic as I like being a bit misdirected.

It’s been a hard times for those of us who love ***r icons losing both Dolly and Tim Curry so close together. Today’s Fringe video celebrates on of Curry’s iconic roles which I feel was an awakening for many of us

Grabbef to help out with this small tribute to Dolly Parton following on in the Fringe series. It’s lovely during Fringe how a community of performers begins to develop for a bit, I’ve been really pleased to run into people a few times, sharing struggles and successes. Performing isn’t easy, marketing and advertising is probably harder in many ways as there’s so much on, so major respect to everyone trying to make things happen

Dolly would be proud

Met Ron Placone in the Grassmarket who has an amazingly titled “Anti-Fascist Pasta Night” at West Port Oracle at 3:45pm till the end of the month.

He messaged me earlier in the month and I like responding to messages

Standing near my regular start yesterday, I found this A Capella group! They did well to task with no preparation. The Fringe is so full of performers, it was hard to fit this bunch on screen

Today’s episode of Fringe my long-term associate was doing the Old Town tour and chose that French one they goes “dada-da da-da da DA, da da”

She’s a core part of the city’s touring and comedy scenes and this year has been writing show reviews (but not for us as it’s a conflict of interest)

People are sleeping in! What are they, on holiday or something?

Still, Edinburgh remains gorgeous and I’m using the day to do a bunch of social media and the like. Roisin is on the tours and she’s actual spectacular so give her a visit for the Old Town 11:30 and LGBTQ 14:00

For every one of the 7 years I’ve been a guide I’ve walked past and I only just got chatting to them today. Well, you know that expression where the best time to plant a tree is 20 years ago and the 2nd best time is today.

7 years of biscuits! This is what is for
