I have been quieter than usual on here lately and I don’t usually post things like this on here, but this is why, I’ve been incredibly busy looking after my clients and August was the best ever month for my business so far!

In the last few years my business has gone from strength to strength and it is thanks to my AMAZING clients for trusting me, repeatedly booking with me AND thinking highly enough of me to recommend me to their friends. I’m so very grateful for each and every one of you and every single enquiry and booking you make with me.

I’m also very greatful for the things clients share with me. That I get to be a part of how they make memories and that they want to share photos and stories of their trips with me.

A few nights ago a very excited client and their husband rang me at around 10pm, highly excited because they had decided on the trip they wanted to book. The next day the same client apologised for the late call. BUT, apologies are very genuinely NEVER needed. It’s been a very busy week and this call absolutely made it for me! I’m excited too! I literally can’t wait for their holiday and it isn’t even mine, so I can’t imagine how excited they are! ❤️🏝️

Some days I really do feel so incredibly lucky! Thankyou so much to all of my amazing clients!

So I’m out of office for a long weekend this weekend and as I was working on helping a client get their trip to Orlando booked, my lovely colleague and fellow Disney fan Carli stepped in to help me get everything finalised.

I’m so lucky to have such fantastic colleagues that I also consider friends and I can’t wait to see my lovely client and their family head off to Orlando! I’m so excited for them!

It’s been an absolute joy to receive beautiful photos from my clients throughout their trip, which included Copenhagen, Stockholm and then an adventure through the Norwegian Fjords by car, ship and scenic train.

They have travelled through the tallest Fjords, visited a Viking Village, stayed with Alpaca, taken a Rib Safari through a fjord and even visited the most Northerly commercial vineyard in the world!
(Let me know if you already knew Norway had Vineyards?)

The internet won’t answer your phone call at 2am. We will! I always will personally if I can and for times when I can’t, our Travel Counsellors 24/7 Duty Office is there.

Some people like spending hours searching online and are happier booking themselves, but what if you don’t want to lose an evening (or a week!) to 40 browser tabs and a spreadsheet that stopped making sense two hours ago?

What if you want a real person with knowledge you can't Google — because if I haven’t personally stayed in the rooms, walked the beaches, met the guides then there will be another Travel Counsellor who has. We know which "sea view" is real and which one isn't!

What if you want a real human when it goes wrong — flight cancelled, storm incoming, travel advice changing? With me it takes one phone call or even a just WhatsApp message. One person who already knows your booking. No chatbot, no hold music.

I’m a person who actually actually cares if you love your trip! I want it to be perfect and I’ll always go above and beyond to make everything go as smoothly as possible for you.

Why would you want to do a cruise and not get off the ship?

Why would I need to get off?! 😁

So I might get off… but cruise ships really can have as much or as little as you want or need and where else in Europe can you stay in one place and find an ice rink, water park, Flowrider, an obstacle course, carousel, pools, broadway style shows, thrilling ice shows and extreme high divers, amazing food choices including tasting menus and themed dining, plus a whole host of entertainment and more? Not forgetting of course a pet dog!

Today is World Lion Day and I feel so very lucky to have been able to get so close to some young lion cubs while at Shamwari this summer.

Safari is a huge bucket list trip for many people and it is so important to get it right. Where you choose to safari may depend on which animals you hope to see, whether you want or need a malaria free area, whether you want to be able to incorporate river safari or a hot air balloon ride, even the level of luxury you require. Perhaps the game viewing is the only important thing to you and you don’t really care where you stay?

It’s my job to guide you through the process and suggest options perfect for you so you can create a trip to remember that is perfect for you.

This photo from my lovely clients has made me smile so much and hopefully it does the same for you!

This is the busiest time of year for my clients travelling and they are literally all over the world. But the super updates from these particular clients making their way through the Fjords by train and car have really made my very busy week so much brighter!
