New ferry lines between Montenegro and Italy / Croatia!
Starting in June 2025, the Dubrovnik-Kotor ferry line, operated by "Kompas," will run twice a week. The catamaran Antonija, with a capacity of 242 passengers, will make the journey in about three hours, departing Dubrovnik on Monday and Wednesday mornings and returning from Kotor in the evening. Tickets will cost between 40 and 50 euros one way, with return tickets priced at 59 euros. The route is designed for day trips, allowing passengers around five hours to explore Kotor.
Additionally, "Kompas" operates the Budva-Dubrovnik ferry line, which will continue in 2025 with four weekly departures. This service takes about two hours, with a ticket price of 55 euros one way and 69 euros for a return. The Dubrovnik-Budva line offers a quick and convenient alternative to road travel, helping reduce congestion while enhancing tourism between Montenegro and Croatia.
The Ancona - Bar ferry line launches on July 9, 2024, with biweekly departures from both ports. Book your ticket online at Adria Ferries. Sail in comfort aboard the AF Mia, a cruise ferry with 200 cabins for up to 1,500 passengers, including 14 suites, 12 of which are luxury suites on the upper deck, renovated in May 2024. Enjoy spacious lounges, four bars, one with a pool, self-service and à la carte restaurants, a duty-free shop, a children's area, and pet-friendly cabins.
The Bar - Bari ferry line by Jadrolinija launches on July 2, 2025, with weekly departures. The ferry Dalmacija was originally built as Oslofjord in 1993 at the Norwegian shipyard Fosen Mekaniske Verksteder AS and reconstructed in 2014 at STX in Finland by OSK Design. It has an average speed of 17 knots and can accommodate 1,800 passengers and 350 cars. On board, passengers can enjoy various facilities, including two restaurants, three bars, a grill bar, a playroom for children, and spacious open decks.

Merry Christmas to all Ortodox celebrating today.
Petra , Jordan 🇯🇴 was stunning today. One of the older cities in the world. Perta was named a UNESCO World Heritage Site in 1985. It calls " pink city," and it was settled by Nabataeans , a nomad Arabic people in the 4th century BC .
I am very grateful to have had the opportunity to see this place.

- When almost every night as soon as you close your eyes the alarm goes off
- Where you can get drunk for $5
- Hangovers can be blamed on seasickness
- Hours back determine when parties are
- You haven’t had 10 minutes alone since you walked onboard
- Arriving at a new country usually consists of finding the free Wi-Fi
- Sleeping in?
- You haven’t known what day of the week it is for 6 months
- Being screamed at by a passenger condones chugging a beer on a bathroom break
- Being solely responsible for tens of thousands of dollars with no sweat
- Happy hour can be every hour
- Working less than 10 hours is considered to be "an easy day"
- You know there will always be white rice for breakfast/lunch/dinner
- Partying with your bosses
- It’s been 4 days since you’ve stepped outside
- You’ve just spent a 13-hour day with the same people, so you go to dinner and happily spend the rest of the night with them
- Packing a variety of costumes for a contract is smart
- You can survive with 3 pairs of jeans for 6 months
- Seeing the captain at the gym is like seeing a movie star at a grocery
- You smile even if you’re having a bad day
- When you’re in the real world you stop yourself from saying hello to
random people walking past you
- Walking across the hallway and knocking, replaces the need for a cellphone
