Feedback from a recent choir tour in Scotland for the Spiritsong Community Choir from North America, visiting Oban, Isle of Lismore, Aberfeldy and Edinburgh over an 8 day itinerary. 'This trip was extraordinary in creating opportunities to meet the Scottish people and make music together. It was so much more than just a performance tour. We had the rare opportunity to stay in communities without all the tourists and spend time doing a variety of activities with local folks. We had multiple opportunities to share our music and ourselves with them and they with us. This is what truly builds bridges between people. The scenery and cultural activities were richly varied and our coordinator and guide Kath was simply the best. I feel like I left a bit of myself in Scotland and that I will now carry a bit of Scotland in me forever. I can’t wait to come back.' Vicki Blake, Spiritsong Choir director

Just completed a wonderful tour in Scotland with the Spiritsong choir from Canada/USA. We travelled to the island of Lismore, then to Aberfeldy and ended the week in Edinburgh with a concert raising funds for St Columba's Hospice. Joyous singing throughout, glorious sunshine for most of the tour and a real sense of unity and cross cultural connections. Ceilidhs, guided nature walks, shepherding demos, gaelic singing, storytelling and Scottish songs.
